Yeah, but we had so much ice last night that I had to stay home with my son today. Such a hardship. Sleeping late, re-reading an old KMM Highlander book, working on a quilt. Positively painful. Painful I tell you.
LOL!! It does have its good points.
Tell me about it! At least Phyl was lucky enough to stay home... (Phyl you lucky woman!). I had to haul my butt to work after the ice fell and ice skated to the bus stop. Not a pretty sight, lol! More coming tonight... maybe I'll be able stay home tomorrow so I can re-read a favorite KMM Highlander book like Phyl, lol!
You are very lucky, Lori!!! LOL. However, apparently, Montreal will be spare. Only about 15cm, which makes it a very mild snowstorm. However, I envy the USA though. When you have a snowstorm, you get a snow day!
We got a little bit of snow last night here in Germany but that's it. In the next days we are supposed to get some spring-like days and I'm so happy that out weather is not like it's in the US or Australia right now. I'm so ready for more sun and spring.
Have been watching the snow pile up. As a So Cal gal, we still remember the growing up years in Chicago, Indiana and Iowa. Gosh, we just get giddy out here when we get rain. Please stay warm and safe.
The Karma--she got me, lol. About an hour after I left my first comment, our power went out for 9 hours. I read my Kindle by candle and then went to bed early. Power's back, and now we have phase 2, wind and snow. The kid's off from school again and I'm home from work.I do have to acknowledge that I'm very, very fortunate to have a job where I'm "non-essential" personnel and can use vacation days at the last minute like this.
LOLOLOLOL!!! ROFLOLOLOLOL!!! Oh how I wish I saw this last Tuesday night. I really needed a laugh then...
This seriously cracked me the hell up. I can't tell you how glad I am to be where you are. Sorry to the rest of you! :D
Have you read it? What do you think?
